Our latest Art Editions initiative is a celebration of the synergistic, symbiotic relationship between the visual and musical arts. PORTRAITS FOR BLANK FORMS brings together historic Blank Forms contributors across mediums and generations, honoring our foundational interest in work that hybridizes and transcends genre. Over the next two years, we will roll out five artists’ interpretations of five musicians, starting with Simone Fattal’s lithograph Music for Our Time, inspired by the work of Robert Schumann. Portraits from Sanya Kantarovsky, Albert Oehlen, Giangiacomo Rossetti, and Kara Walker will be made available for public purchase soon.

All proceeds will go toward artists’ fees, commissions, and archival work for our 2025–26 season.
